This year’s boxing day dip will take place as usual on Sunny Sands Beach on Monday 26th December. The event will be covered by local radio.

Registration will take place on the day from 10:00am at the Mariner Pub, 16 The Stade, CT19 6AB. There will be a fancy dress competition judged on the beach shortly before 11:45am, 15 minutes before the dip.

The dip will take place at 12:00 PM.

There will be commemorative medals for all ‘Dippers’ who raise money for various charities. The Folkestone Lions Club organise the event, and pass the monies raised onto the charities nominated by the dippers themselves and other local worthy causes. A range of other prizes will be awarded, including one for the dipper who raises the most money.
