At 19.55 on Saturday 13th July, Folkestone Coastguard received a report that a yacht that had been reported missing had been spotted moored up in Folkestone Harbour.

Due to concern for the yacht owner’s welfare, Folkestone Rescue crew taxied Folkestone Coastguard personnel over to the yacht, where contact was made with the owner.

Folkestone Coastguard confirmed that all was well, and the owner was put in touch with concerned relatives.
