We know it’s tempting to visit the beaches this weekend and as beach lifeguards we love the coast too.
But please, stretch your legs locally and where possible avoid taking long hikes down to the beach.
Doing so could put yourself at risk and our first responders too. They’ll be risking their own lives to rescue you.
Please where possible stay home, enjoy the nice weather in your garden and help us avoid pressure on our very precious emergency services.
